An environmental song about the climate emergency that I wrote in 2023 when Canada was on fire. This year may be as bad. I kept it simple so that people can learn it easily to sing at protests, etc. The changing climate due to burning fossil fuels, deforestation, livestock farming, etc., may not directly cause fires, but it certainly exacerbates them. but our leaders just aren’t learning

Whether government or corporation,

all they do is drag their feet,

so it’s us, the people of this nation,

gotta make them feel the heat!

so why are we wasting more time now

with the fate of the planet so clear?
