SCAN! NORTHUMBERLAND
Who We Are …
The SCAN! Northumberland group began to take form in August 2022 and currently has approximately twenty members. Like other regional groups, we formed to emphasize local actions. We are based in beautiful Northumberland County, which also happens to be the riding of David Piccini, Ontario’s Minister of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks. As you can see from the pictures below, we often gather outside his office.
In the spirit of SCAN!, we have no formal structure and adhere to its principles of being democratic, accountable, equitable, and participatory.
